    💉 Vaccine Policy

    At Peak Pediatric Care, we follow the vaccine schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

    Our policy:

    • Patients must follow the Massachusetts School Immunization Requirements
    • We do not allow alternative or delayed vaccine schedules
    • Influenza, COVID, Hepatitis A, and HPV are not required

     

    If your family chooses not to follow this schedule, our practice is not the right fit.

    📆 Appointment Policy

    To keep appointments available for all families, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

    Missed Appointments

    • Same-day cancellations or no-shows are considered missed appointments
    • A $35 fee will be applied

    Tracking

    • Missed appointments are tracked per family
    • 3 missed appointments within 12 months may result in dismissal

    New Patients

    • If your first visit is missed, it may be rescheduled once
    • If the second visit is also missed, we will not be able to continue scheduling you

    💳 Billing Policy

    Balances

    • Payment is expected within 30 days of your statement
    • 90 days: $25 late fee
    • 120 days: additional $25 fee and possible scheduling restrictions
    • Payment plans are available if needed

    Copays

    • Copays are due at the time of your visit
    • If not paid at check-in, they must be paid by the end of the day
    • Unpaid copays will result in a $10 missed copay fee

    Insurance

    • It is your responsibility to confirm we are in-network with your plan
    • If your insurance is not accepted, you are responsible for the full cost

    Verify Insurance Coverage 

    It is your responsibility to confirm with your health insurance that Peak Pediatric Care is in-network for your specific plan. Our office cannot verify network status on your behalf.

    If you do not confirm that we are in-network, you may be responsible for the full cost of your visit.

    Please note: We are not currently accepting new patients with the following insurance plans: MassHealth, WellSense MCO, Aetna, Tufts Health Direct, Tricare, and Unicare. We hope to reopen to these plans in the future.
